We have more than 7 years of professional experience in the preparation of cosmetics PIF.
The new Cosmetic Regulation (EC) N° 1223/2009 sets many requirements, among are mandatory requirements for designating a responsible person, who have to be placed in EU, and for choosing a safety assessor, who should provide safety assessment of the cosmetic product.
As it is indicated by the Regulation (EC) N° 1223/2009, safety assessor should perform a safety assessment:
"In order to demonstrate that a cosmetic product complies with Article 3, the responsible person shall, prior to placing a cosmetic product on the market, ensure that the cosmetic product has undergone a safety assessment" (Art. 10).
According to the Regulation (EC) N° 1223/2009, safety assessor is:
"a person in possession of a diploma or other evidence of formal qualifications awarded on completion of a university course of theoretical and practical study in pharmacy, toxicology, medicine or a similar discipline, or a course recognized as equivalent by a Member State" (Art. 10).
